Drum Daddy is a focused iPhone drum machine and 16-step rhythm computer. It works offline, saves locally, and asks for no account.

Common Questions

How do I mute or solo a track?

Tap a track header to mute or unmute it. Hold the header to solo or unsolo it.

How do I set the tempo?

Tap TAP along with the beat to find a tempo. Tap the BPM number if you want to enter an exact value.

How do I save a groove?

Open Controls, choose Pattern, and save the current state into one of four named memory slots.

How do I export a loop?

Open Pattern Tools, choose Share, name the file, and export it as a WAV through the iOS share sheet.

Does Drum Daddy collect data?

No. The Drum Daddy app does not collect, track, sell, or transmit personal data.

Where are my patterns stored?

Patterns, named memories, kits, tempo, swing, accents, track mutes, and mixer levels are stored locally using storage on your device.

Can I undo a cleared pattern or memory?

The Blank tool provides one-step Undo for the current pattern. Clearing or overwriting a saved memory slot cannot be undone, and Drum Daddy does not provide cloud backup.

Why did playback stop?

Drum Daddy stops playback when the app is backgrounded, the device is locked, or the audio route is interrupted or changed. Press Play when you are ready to continue.

Does Drum Daddy require an internet connection?

No. The app's core features work offline. Opening external links or sharing a WAV may use another app or service.
