Drum Daddy Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 30, 2026

The Drum Daddy app is designed to work without collecting personal data. The optional website analytics described below are separate from the app.

Data Collection

The Drum Daddy app does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information.

The app does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, third-party accounts, or cloud sync.

Data Stored On Your Device

Drum Daddy stores its current pattern, named memory slots, selected kit, tempo, swing, accents, track mutes, and mixer levels using storage on your device. This data is used to restore the app between launches and is not sent to us.

Drum Daddy does not operate a cloud-sync service. Depending on your iOS backup settings, Apple may include locally stored app data in a device backup. Drum Daddy does not receive or control those backups.

Exported WAV Files

Drum Daddy can create a WAV file from your current loop. The file is generated on your device and is not uploaded by Drum Daddy. It leaves the app only when you choose a destination through the iOS share sheet. Any service you select handles the shared file according to its own terms and privacy practices.

Network Access

Drum Daddy does not require an internet connection to use its core features.

The app may include links to external websites for sample license information or support. If you open those links, your browser and the destination website may handle data according to their own privacy policies.

This Website

On the production Drum Daddy website, Google Analytics loads only after you explicitly allow it. No request is made to Google before consent, and Analytics does not load on localhost or preview deployments.

With consent, the website sends the page path without URL query strings, page title, and the referring website’s origin. Google Analytics also processes limited technical information needed to provide the service, such as a random browser identifier, browser and device information, approximate location derived from an IP address, and interaction timestamps. Advertising storage, personalization, and Google signals remain disabled.

Your analytics choice is remembered for 30 days. Analytics cookies are limited to 30 days. You can allow, refuse, or change website analytics at any time through “Analytics settings” in the footer. Revoking consent disables future Analytics use and removes accessible Analytics cookies. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Analytics stays disabled regardless of an earlier choice.

Google handles consented Analytics data according to its Privacy Policy. If you follow another external link or contact support by email, the service you choose may handle information according to its own privacy policy.

Support

If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you choose to include in your message, such as your email address, device details, or a description of the issue. We use that information only to respond to your request.

Children’s Privacy

Drum Daddy does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this privacy policy if Drum Daddy’s features or data practices change. Any updates will be posted on this page.
